The contract human beings were bound to through the generations were based on rules to enable the survival of our species. Regardless of how anyone feels about religion or common laws, these rules generally exist to make it so that we exist. History teaches us that we will always have people pushing the boundaries of these universally accepted human laws.
No matter which way you look at it, we are in a box of boxes. Art, music, literature, theater, movies all seek to address this and delight, inspire and spark our curiosity with the extremes.
The dystopian worlds created for our entertainment are mostly depictions of the things “could be” not what is. In my lifetime, these dystopian constructs have come closer to reality than ever before.
What we are seeing today in the political, economic, social world is a literal tear in the fabric of the rules designed to keep us in some form of systemic peace.
In the movie Fight Club, there were rules as well.
- Fight Club Rule 1 | You don’t talk about fight club.
- Fight Club Rule 2 | YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB.
- Fight Club Rule 3 | Someone yells stop, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over.
- Fight Club Rule 4 | Only two guys to a fight.
- Fight Club Rule 5 | One Fight at a time.
- Fight Club Rule 6 | No Shirts, No shoes.
- Fight Club Rule 7 | Fights will go on as long as they have to.
- Fight Club Rule 8 | If this is your first night at fight club, you have to fight.
Do you know what this is about?
Quiet desperation. The 8 Rules of Fight Club
That isn’t exactly what this is about.. though.. This post is about the things we aren’t meant to expose and what happens when they do become exposed.
At some point in recent years, people were told that they should bring their “whole selves” and be “authentic.” Authenticity means in the context to take off the mask. Share your core values and beliefs, accept yourself and others and don’t change who you are to meet someone else’s idea of what is right or wrong.
Let me ask you this question. Is that what WE really wanted?
I think we wanted and potentially needed Fight Club. You do you but you do you in the darkness or light of your own domain. Whatever that means for you. Don’t bring your whole self everywhere because it isn’t welcome.
You disagree?

Would she present well as the CEO of JP Morgan?
How about this?
It is cool to bring your Christmas stuff to the office because it is generally normalized and in our community contract but what if..
ADL Hate on Display Printable.pdf <– a little much so..
You see, if these folks brought their authentic selves, it wouldn’t be great now … would it?
ok .. ok ok… You get it right???
Well, how about this..?

He is bringing his authentic self and he is not afraid to share his true feelings about anything. No issues, no consequences, no nothing.. Does he conform to the social contract and standards?
Did he just expose his version of Fight Club?
Oh, I am not picking on him, pulllleeezzee. It isn’t about good ole Pete, it IS about YOU and me.
See, I was good with Fight Club when we didn’t talk about it. Our world is full of darkness and maybe it is designed this way. For there to be light, there must be darkness. Let me say this to you again for clarity.. For you to have any concept of good, you have to know something that isn’t good.
I can imagine a world where people work together, we live in harmony, we share with each other, and we love each other. Adversity comes from nature. We as a people, as a body, we bring our best versions of ourselves to help each other. We advance in medicine, we find ways to live in nature better, we create renewable materials, new food sources, health and well being is our goal.
This is not the way.
People want and need to suffer. They want and need to cause suffering of others. It makes them whole, it makes them feel better.
We see ourselves in the media mirror, reflected through current entertainment like the television show “The Boys” I’ll assume nothing. I know that some of you would never watch this show and I would not encourage you to do it but what I will say to you is that as messed up as we are, historically, we agreed not to bring our mess to every occasion.
Now we invite you to join us with your mess. This is one of the key reasons we are struggling right now. This is one of the main reasons we have issues across the world. Now, if we consider where we are heading and where will land, it is fairly simple. Global fascism with a few rulers to control the whole of the thing.
You can disagree with me, but I’ll tell you the moment I saw what happened during Covid, I realized that weren’t as sophisticated as I thought we were.
The reason AI is such a threat to us is because once it reaches AGI and the ability to take control, it will certainly realize our stupidity as a body. Now, if only we could have kept ourselves in check.
We can’t, the genie is out of the bottle. I mean, just saying that Epstein was not a thing. He was one person called out for what existed already in our world but was UNDERGROUND.
Then when it was exposed, it was not acceptable. Think about it.. Epstein brought his authentic self. He wasn’t the devil, he was a representation of the darkness that already existed and he was simply exposed.
All the people offended should feel free to interview all the staffers from over the years from Congress and the Senate and ask them what they know. You my friends haven’t seen shit. Epstein looks like a gift from the heavens compared to what these people do.
You don’t talk about Fight Club. There is no Fight Club.
The reality is, that we are in trouble now, we have brought the darkness into the light and exposed it. It is so dark that it envelopes the light like a black hole.
I am not saying the “end is near” but I am saying that we have reached the end of what we knew. I am saying that my generation is the last generation to know of what was and what is coming. Generation X was always the bridge and now.. well.. yeah.. not good.
Are you ok Howie?
Let me ask you my friends, are you ok?
I believe I understand your feelings Howie, and agree that we have a lot of darkness around us, but seems that instead of looking for light, we seem to be comfortable in the darkness or at least we have stop looking for the light. I think this is a turning point for humanity, either we get deeper in our comforts in darkness or we start seeking the light. The problem is in seeking the light, we have by our media society an easy avenue of false prophets and cult leaders that will bring us further into the darkness. We need to find who is tied to the Creator by the inclusive love that they speak and many leaders will not go there, so lets start realizing that they are part of the darkness and not keep giving them a pass because we can live with it. We are like the frog in the pot of water, we are gradually getting the water hotter and we seem comfortable but all of a sudden we reach a point of heat that we cannot overcome and we begin to cook or boil till we die. Same with what is happening now, with humanity.
